UN launches cybersecurity framework aimed at simplified cyber diplomacy

The U.N. developed a cybersecurity framework, which builds on and complements existing frameworks, such as the MITRE ATT&CK framework, Infosecurity Magazine reports. The U.N. Institute for Disarmament Research Intrusion Path framework looks to help U.N. member states and “non-technical stakeholders” understand how malicious actors can target IT systems without the use of “complex language” in hopes of making cyber diplomacy “more inclusive and better informed.”
