U.K. Information Commissioner John Edwards issued a statement on the progress of the Data Use and Access Bill after it passed in the House of Lords. Edwards called for further clarification on certain children’s privacy provisions and supported parliamentarians’ calls to draft subsequent legislation that will direct the ICO to develop codes of practice for automated decision-making, AI and educational technology.
