The EU Travel Tech association filed complaints against Ryanair for alleged EU General Data Protection Regulation violations, Euractiv reports. The complaints filed with France and Belgium’s data protection authorities claimed the airline’s biometric data processing standards did not follow GDPR guidelines and “introduces risks including data breaches, identity theft, and unwarranted surveillance.”
