The Irish Times reports TikTok can temporarily proceed with EU data transfers until October as the Irish High Court considers an appeal of the Data Protection Commission’s 2 May transfer decision. The DPC previously found TikTok violated the EU General Data Protection Regulation, resulting in a 530 million euro fine and a ban on transfers if corrective measures were not adopted.
