In a recent keynote speech at the Global Privacy Assembly, European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders discussed the “increasing reality” of global data free flow due to growing global cooperation and alignment on data protection matters. Reynders also opined on the future of data protection enforcement in an “expanding digital regulatory framework,” adding, “the need for bridges has never been as important as it is today.”
