Poland’s DPA seeks revisions to draft children’s online safety bill

Poland’s data protection authority, UrzÄ…d Ochrony Danych Osobowych, suggested the draft act to protect minors against access to harmful content on the internet implement revisions aiming to protect individuals’ online rights and privacy. UODO President MirosÅ‚aw Wróblewski said the “right to access content disseminated in the mass media falls within the scope of these rights and freedoms, and the draft — by establishing restrictions on access to specific content — constitutes an interference with constitutional freedoms and rights.”
