OpenAI and toy manufacturer Mattel announced a partnership for OpenAI to embed generative AI into its products and software, TechCrunch reports. The partnership may offer OpenAI an opportunity to capitalize on Mattel’s expanding entertainment arm with more movies based on popular toy brands and video games to be released in the near future, following the success of the “Barbie” movie in 2023.
