Op-ed: Pressing need for a global treaty on international data transfers

The absence of multilateral treaties governing cross-border data transfers is creating “legal fragmentation (that) will inevitably lead to inconsistent, conflicting regulations,” Yilport Holding Compliance Manager Ç.
