Norway’s DPA reprimands digital platform over nonconsensual data practices

Norway’s data protection authority, Datatilsynet, issued a reprimand to Disqus after the company allegedly collected and shared users’ data with its parent company, Zeta Global, without consent. The DPA claimed Disqus previously worked to comply with privacy regulations and ended its data collection practices after it discovered the error.
