Norway’s DPA, education association argue against children register bill

Norway’s data protection authority, Datatilsynet, wrote a joint article about a government proposal for a national register of children and associated privacy challenges. Acting Legal Director Camilla Nervik and Geir Røsvoll, the leader of the Norwegian Education Association, argue the bill’s shortcomings have not been addressed and threatens children’s right to privacy under the European Convention on Human Rights.
