Monaco adopted a new law to improve its personal data protection standards, including the creation of a new authority, improved rights for adults and minors, and the creation of a data protection officer standard. The law is meant to help Monaco comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, which in turn will allow it to participate in data transfers with other EU countries.
