University of Bonn Data Law and Technology Professor Louisa Specht-Riemenschneider began her term as Germany’s Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. During her term, Specht-Riemenschneider said she will focus on security efforts while supporting safe artificial intelligence innovation to “enable a trustworthy and fundamental rights-oriented AI landscape.”
