Two Members of European Parliament said they welcomed the completion of the EU General-Purpose AI Code of Practice and encouraged companies to sign on as an act of good faith. Irish MEP Michael McNamara and Italian MEP Brando Benifei also said the EU AI Office needs to take the lead in enforcing the EU AI Act.
