Worldcoin’s eye-scanning technology that aims to develop a system to verify humans from artificial intelligence has raised concerns about the use of sensitive biometric data, The Wall Street Journal reports. Worldcoin Chief Privacy Officer Damien Kieran said the technology anonymizes the data collected. “We don’t collect data to harvest it. We don’t sell data. In fact, we couldn’t sell it, because we don’t know who the data belongs to,” Kieran said.
