The U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office released a response report following its five-part public consultation series on generative AI. The report features ICO analyses on how specific areas of data protection law apply to generative AI systems. Meanwhile, ICO Executive Director for Regulatory Risk Stephen Almond called on AI developers to increase their level of transparency over how they use consumers’ data to train their models.
