Italy’s data protection authority, the Garante, approved the country’s association of software producers code of conduct that aims to bolster data protection compliance during the processing of personal data when using management software. The Garante also discussed parental consent for posting images of children under 14 on social media, pointing to a recent case and subsequent reprimand.
