Eurofiber France, a fiberoptics networking provider, confirmed it discovered a cyberattack within its internal support ticket management system 13 Nov., Cyber Press reports. The company claimed a hacker exploited a software vulnerability within the ticket management system to steal customers’ personal data. The attack appeared to be limited to Eurofiber France’s infrastructure, while operations in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands were unaffected. The company said that no critical infrastructure or financial information was stolen in the hack.
