European Commission Director for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Industry Lucilla Sioli was named the new director of the EU AI Office, Euronews reports. The AI Office will be comprised of five main departments, including those dedicated to regulation and compliance, safety and innovation. The appointments and units will begin to take force 16 June.
