The European Commission completed an assessment of the EU General-Purpose AI Code of Practice. The Commission found the code is an adequate tool for participants to demonstrate their compliance with the EU AI Act. Meanwhile, the Commission published a preliminary list of companies that signed onto the Code of Practice, including Amazon, Anthropic and Google.
