The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity released its EU Cybersecurity Index 2024, detailing member states and institutions’ cybersecurity posture. The report found large and small to medium-sized enterprises typically did not experience data security incidents though most “enterprises in the EU do not utilise AI technologies for ICT security.” The use of cybersecurity assessments was among the lowest-scoring index rating indicators.
