The European Data Protection Supervisor reprimanded the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, Frontex, for allegedly not complying with regulations on personal data processing for cross-border suspects. The EDPS claimed Frontex shared unnecessary information about suspects with the EU Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation without evaluating the potential privacy risks.
