At its 2 Aug. plenary meeting, the European Data Protection Board will issue its binding decision on alleged TikTok children’s privacy violations brought forward by Ireland’s Data Protection Commission. The decision comes after the DPC referred its preliminary decision to the EDPB in May and a lack of consensus among board members triggered an Article 65 dispute resolution procedure.
