The European Data Protection Board will address the ongoing data protection concerns around the DeepSeek AI chatbot at the board’s 11 Feb. plenary session. Several EDPB members have current probes or requests for information out to the China-based AI startup. Additionally, the board will use the plenary to adopt a statement on age-assurance practices.
