Euractiv reports the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union submitted a proposed change to a draft law meant to detect online child sexual abuse material limiting the scope to known material. The law would potentially allow authorities to scan email and messaging apps for material, something that has worried privacy advocates.
