Denmark’s data protection authority, Datatilsynet, said the Ministry of Immigration and Integration should have a system to ensure its data deletion policy is carried out correctly after inspecting its data practices. The authority also critiqued the ministry for not immediately deleting information after a person gets citizenship in an EU state.
