The Council of the European Union adopted the European Health Data Space regulation. The law’s objective is to improve individuals’ access to and control over their electronic personal health data across EU borders, while enabling the use of certain data for health research and innovation. The EHDS now heads to the European Parliament for adoption before being published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
