Representatives of the Cybersecurity Administration of China and the European Commission reviewed the Cross-Border Data Flow Communication Mechanism, which the two sides agreed to in August 2024. The meeting focused on reaching a broad consensus for building two-way reciprocity to continue pragmatic negotiations for meeting the respective data transfer needs of EU and Chinese enterprises.
