Spain’s data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, opened a public consultation through 11 May on its draft 2025-2030 Strategic Plan. The draft contains six areas of action for the AEPD over the next five years, including proactive data protection monitoring and facilitating better regulatory compliance for small and medium-size enterprises by helping them strengthen their data protection officers.
