The U.K. announced a partnership with Google DeepMind that will allow organizations to use the tool in various sectors to advance research and continue development of semiconductors. The tools are “designed to support scientific discovery and enabling researchers to tackle problems of unprecedented complexity and scale.” The Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology will work with Google to determine research priorities and ensure the tool is used to benefit consumers.
