During a recent meeting in Montreal, G7 Industry, Digital and Technology ministers issued a joint statement on establishing a blueprint for safe AI integration by small and medium-sized enterprises. The statement calls for governments to support SMEs adopting AI technologies and reads, in part, “Although AI use by SMEs is rapidly increasing, they are adopting it at a slower pace than large enterprises as they face distinct barriers that call for targeted measures.”
