Call-recording app allegedly contains vulnerability exposing users’ phone data

Neon, a call-recording platform that pays users for sharing their phone calls for AI training purposes, allegedly contained a vulnerability that exposed users’ phone data, including phone call transcripts, TechCrunch reports. Neon said it is temporarily taking down the app to resolve security issues and noted it wants to “make sure it is fully secure even during this period of rapid growth.”
