The Court of Justice of the European Union’s rulings regarding personal data and indirectly identifiable data will have implications for data protection authorities enforcement and organizations compliance. The relative approach to personal data makes life easier, but data holders should carefully consider the CJEU’s concept of ‘indirect identifiability’ before making data accessible to users and data recipients.”
