Australia’s eSafety Commissioner, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Networks and the U.K. Office of Communications issued a joint statement agreeing to a set of commitments for enhancing children’s safety on online platforms. Each regulator committed to fully implementing their respective countries’ online safety laws, while also furthering their collaboration on promoting age assurance technology through a new “trilateral cooperation group.”
