In an op-ed for Infosecurity Magazine, Kamran Ikram, Accenture’s cybersecurity lead for the UK, Ireland and Africa, said organizations should prioritize strong safeguards and consumer relationships when considering cybersecurity resilience and the evolving threat landscape. Ikram noted chief information security officers should focus on “simulation over reporting, running live crisis exercises that make risk tangible for non-technical leaders. He added AI and cloud-based services must be “secure by design, not by retrofit.”
