UNESCO adopted a set of global standards for ethics around the use of neurotechnology, the Guardian reports. The standards were developed in response to recent developments, including the ability to decode brain data using AI and the growing market for consumer-grade neurotechnology devices, such as earbuds that purport to read brain activity.
