BBC News reports on how quantum computing may prove to be a more powerful technology despite being overshadowed by the AI boom. The convergence of quantum and AI raises great potential, however, Forrester Vice President and Principal Analyst in Emerging Tech Brian Hopkins noted initial experiments “indicate that we require much more powerful quantum computers and further innovative research to effectively apply quantum effects to AI.”
