The European Data Protection Board published the assessment submitted by a representative from the Support Pool of Experts program examining the practicality of establishing a digital euro. The expert examined the feasibility of the “token-based offline modality” as well as how such a system could be implemented to “ensure the very high level of protection envisaged.”
