In an interview with Euractiv, U.S. Ambassador to the EU Andrew Puzder expressed hope in the “potential” for the EU and U.S. to collaborate on a range of digital technology policy issues. One item was the EU and U.S. coming up with “something that’s unified” for regulating AI. “The United States is leading in (the AI field), and if you’re going to regulate in that field, you should work with the United States to come up with regulations that work — not only for America, but also for the EU,” Puzder said.Â
