Iceland’s data protection authority, the Persónuvernd, discussed the importance of transparency and accountability when implementing AI and urged organizations to bolster their data protection standards at its AI symposium. The symposium also provided organizations with information on responsible AI use, risk assessments and how to protect personal data during the deployment of AI systems.
