Ireland’s Data Protection Commission appointed Niamh Sweeney to complete its three-commissioner bench alongside Des Hogan and Dale Sunderland. Prior to joining the DPC, Sweeney worked as a special advisor to Ireland’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Facebook Ireland’s head of public policy.Â
