UK’s MoD allegedly limited ICO’s investigation into its data breach

The U.K.’s Ministry of Defence allegedly restricted the Information Commissioner’s Office from obtaining information into its 2022 data breach that leaked information about 25,000 individuals wanting to leave Afghanistan, The Telegraph reports. The ICO was unable to carry out its probe into the data breach, leaving the MoD to complete its own internal investigation.
