The European Data Protection Supervisor released a report containing the findings from its data privacy impact assessment survey in 2024. According to the executive summary, the survey sought to gather information about how EU institutions were conducting privacy assessments. In 2020, a survey indicated that EU institutions had conducted only 17 DPIAs. The EDPS noted, since the EU General Data Protection Regulation entered into force, the agency has been consulted on fewer than 40 DPIAs, to date.
