Anthropic announced it will maintain individuals’ data for five years in order to train its Claude AI model, The Verge reports. Users have until 28 Sept. to opt out of the retention and training program, which will use chat transcripts and coding sessions. Meanwhile, Reuters reports Meta allegedly created chatbots based on celebrities without their consent.
