The United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution for the establishment of the Global Dialogue on AI Governance and an international scientific panel on AI. The dialogue will gather UN members annually to discuss “development of safe, secure and trustworthy” AI systems, including “transparency, accountability and robust human oversight of artificial intelligence systems in a manner that complies with international law.” The forum will also promote “interoperability and compatibility” of governance approaches.
