The EU Ombudsman received two complaints pertaining to the selection process for the new European Data Protection Supervisor, Euronews reports. The first complaint was received at the beginning of the summer. The Ombudsman’s office delayed opening an inquiry to give the European Commission time to respond. In the interim period, the Ombudsman received the second complaint regarding the EDPS selection process.
