CyberScoop reports the efforts of Russian cybercrime groups appears to be more widespread than previously believed, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The BlackSuit and Royal ransomware groups received a combined USD370 million in cryptocurrency after hitting more than 450 victims; German officials had previously identified 184 targets.
