France’s data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, opened a public consultation on its draft recommendation on cybersecurity features of filtering web gateways. The recommendation is geared toward data controllers using gateway filters to secure employees, agents, service providers and external visitors when they web browse on an organization’s network. The consultation closes 30 Sept.
