Wired reports on websites generating sexually explicit deepfake material despite lawmakers’ efforts to curtail them. Analysis from the website Indicator found such AI-powered image generators are being hosted on some of the internet’s biggest platform providers and make money by selling credits to create the nonconsensual images.
