Israel’s Privacy Protection Authority published guidance on the privacy risks associated with the use of generative AI models. The PPA said the main risks to individual users stem from entering personal information into a model, which could then transfer that information to a third party, which may have its own security vulnerabilities. The PPA’s recommendations to users include inputting as little personal information into a generative AI query as possible and remove any potentially personal identifying information.
