According to internet watchdog group Citizen Lab, a second Italian journalist was targeted with spyware developed by surveillance firm Paragon, Reuters reports. Citizen Lab’s report found investigative journalist Ciro Pellegrino’s iPhone showed evidence of having been targeted by Paragon software. The report comes after a government scandal where the software was used to spy on political critics.
